With five seasons in WorldTour outfits under his belt, Vanhoucke brings a wealth of experience and a strong track record, having achieved podium finishes in the General Classification at the Tour de l’Ain and the Sibiu Cycling Tour, alongside multiple top-ten finishes in various stage races.

Vanhoucke expressed his enthusiasm about joining the team, stating, “I’m really happy to join Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team. I believe this is a great opportunity with a team that has a lot of potential, and I’m grateful for the trust they have in me and our plans for the future together. My goals moving forward are to perform well in stage races and target the GC, starting with one-week stage races like the Tour de Romandie and Tour de Suisse—two races that I know have special significance to the team.”

He continued, “I consider myself a good climber, which is one of my main strengths, but I’ve also been focusing more on time-trialling in the past few years and have seen significant improvement in that area. I believe it will be a valuable skillset moving forward. Additionally, I am familiar with the Scott bikes from my time at DSM and was extremely pleased with the material there. Having the opportunity to race again with these bikes, along with SRAM and Zipp wheels, is exciting. The right equipment is crucial for performance these days, and the technical partners of this team really appealed to me.”

“I believe this is a great opportunity with a team that has a lot of potential!”
