Nizzolo to undergo recovery period following leg fracture
Giacomo Nizzolo, who has signed a two-year contract with Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team begining in 2024, was involved in an accident on December 23rd resulting in a leg fracture.

The 34-year-old Italian underwent successful surgery in Kantonsspital Graubünden in Chur, Switzerland on December 27th and was was discharged four days later.
Commenting on the situation, Lorenz Emmert, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team Chief Medical Doctor, explained, “On December 23rd, Giacomo Nizzolo had an accident with a fractured tibial plateau on his right leg. He underwent surgery and was released from the hospital. The healing and rehabilitation process has already begun. We are very optimistic that we will get him back to his usual performance level within the next months as quickly as the injury allows.”
Regrettably, Giacomo Nizzolo won’t attend the upcoming Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team Training camp in Calpe, Spain, scheduled from January 11 to 22. Further updates on Nizzolo’s injury rehabilitation progress will be communicated in due course.
