When did you start riding?
I come from a small town in New Zealand, so didn’t know too much about cycling. I got my first bike when I was eight.
Hobbies?
I really love music. I play the piano and the bass.
Favourite race?
Tour de France, no question!
Did you ever do any sport outside of cycling?
Basketball and field hockey when I was young.
Fun fact?
I worked as a bike messenger in NZ before coming to Europe to pursue a career in pro cycling.
