The Amacx Sups-Line encompasses a diverse range of essential vitamins and minerals crucial for peak athletic performance and daily activities.
“At Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team we’re delighted to have the opportunity to use all the new nutritional supplements line from AMACX which has helped us reach our nutritional goals throughout the season.” explained Adam Plucinski, Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team nutritionist.
Whether it’s fueling performance, aiding recovery, or offering expert nutritional guidance, the Amacx Sups-Line represents Amacx’s commitment to empowering athletes to reach their full potential.
Sport Multi and Omega 3: Essential Nutrients for Optimal Health
Among the standout supplements is the Sport Multi, a comprehensive blend of vitamins and minerals designed to meet the specific needs of athletes. This supplement ensures that riders receive the essential nutrients necessary for peak performance, even during periods of restricted dietary intake.
“The Sport Multi supplement is crucial to ensuring our riders get the necessary amount of vitamins and minerals. All the different vitamins included in this supplement guarantee a minimum of 100% of daily needs established by the FDA. This way, we cover all the daily vitamin needs of our riders, especially during energy intake protocols when we may need to reduce vegetable and fruit intake, such as during low-fiber diets before demanding hilly stages,” said Plucinski.
In addition to the Sport Multi, Amacx has developed the Omega 3 supplement, which the team uses daily. It provides a significant amount of DPA and DHA acids, essential for overall health and supporting immune function.
“We’ve found that Zinc significantly reduces the number of sick days throughout the season”
Vitamin D3 and Zinc: Specialized Support for Immunity and Performance
Vitamin D3 and Zinc are key components of the team’s regimen, providing crucial support for immunity and overall health. These supplements are carefully dosed based on individual needs, ensuring that each rider receives personalized support tailored to their requirements.
“The Vitamin D3 we use regularly, with dosage determined by doctors based on individual rider needs. This supplement is crucial for immunity and bone density/mineralization. We also use Zinc supplements regularly, especially when riders are traveling or sick. We’ve found that Zinc significantly reduces the number of sick days throughout the season,” highlighted Plucinski.
Creatine and Iron: Tailored Solutions for Individual Needs
The Sups-Line also includes specialized supplements like Creatine and Iron, carefully calibrated to address specific performance and health goals. By customizing dosage and timing based on individual biomarkers and training objectives, the team ensures that each rider receives precise support tailored to their needs.
“The AMACX creatine powder, a highly recommended form of creatine monohydrate, is particularly beneficial for our sprinters, increasing phosphocreatine levels in the muscles. The Iron supplement is vital, especially for altitude training camps, providing 50mg of iron that can be adjusted based on individual rider needs. If the ferritin is higher than 130 we can just provide one pill a day and thats a great feature of his particular dosage of Iron supplement. B6 and B11 plus Vit C that’s present in the tabs makes this supplement really easy to use for the prevention of anaemia,” elaborated Plucinski.
“The caffeine tabs containing 100mg of caffeine are used strategically before time trials or stages when riders need to be ready from the start.”
Caffeine Tabs and Beet Shot: Enhanced Performance Through Innovation
Innovative products like Caffeine Tabs and Beet Shot offer targeted support for performance optimization. Whether seeking a boost before a time trial or aiming to enhance mitochondrial efficiency, these supplements provide athletes with a competitive edge. Plucinski explains:
“As for the caffeine tabs, these small pills containing 100mg of caffeine are used strategically before time trials or stages when riders need to be ready from the start. The beet shots, containing 500mg of nitrates per shot, are formulated with a pleasant taste, enhancing mitochondrial efficiency,” explained Plucinski.
Beta-Alanine: building blocs to cycling success
“The beta-alanine we use consistently all season long with all our riders. Before you get full benefits you have to load the carnosine in your muscles so it lasts 4 to 6 weeks. Therefore the riders start using this in the 6 week period leading up to key goals of the season, after that they can reduce the dose and continue to take this supplement throughout the year. It’s a slow release form so you don’t get a huge peak in the body so the riders don’t feel certain disagreeable side effects such as he tingling in the skin. It provides 800mg of beta-alanine per tab makes it easy to adapt the dosage per rider according to their individual needs,” concluded Plucinski
With the Amacx Sups-Line, our riders have access to a comprehensive range of supplements designed to elevate performance, support recovery, and promote overall health. Backed by scientific expertise these supplements represent the pinnacle of athletic nutrition, empowering the Q36.5 Pro Cycling Team squad to push beyond their limits and achieve greatness.
